What Makes Our Doggie Daycare Unique

Not all doggie daycares are the same, and at Lafayette Veterinary Care Center, we go above and beyond. In fact, we’ve been nationally recognized as the winners of the National Doggie Daycare Games for two years in a row. Additionally, we offer curbside drop off and pick up, making doggie daycare convenient for pets as well as their parents.

The daycare itself is staffed with experienced dog trainers who teach attendees important pet manners and ensure that your pup stays safe. We also have a veterinarian on-site all day long, so if any health issues arise with your dog, they can be taken care of quickly.

  • Doggie daycare gives your dog the chance to exercise during the day. With doggie daycare, your pup won't be cooped up in the house all day. Doggie daycare keeps your pet healthy by providing them with the opportunity for extra exercise and movement throughout the day.

  • Socialization is another major benefit of doggie daycare. Because your dog will be spending time with other dogs, they will learn important social skills and manners, meaning your dog is likely to behave better with other household pets, at the dog park and on walks.

  • Because your dog will be able to work off all their energy during the day, doggie daycare can lead to fewer destructive behaviors at home. Dogs who attend doggie daycare are less likely to destroy furniture, dig holes in the yard, or chew on household items.

  • Dogs can get bored when they're left at home all day, especially kept in a kennel. Luckily, doggie daycare alleviates this boredom and allows your dog to be entertained and stimulated while you work, keep appointments or run errands.

  • Doggie daycare has benefits for pet parents as well. Because your pup will be at daycare, you won't have to worry about leaving work to let them outside, and you don't have to worry about how they're behaving at home. Plus, you will have to discipline your dog less as they will learn good manners at daycare.
