Favorite part of your job:   I’m passionate about pain management, senior pet care, client education, and creating fear-free experiences. I also enjoy mentoring coworkers, watching their skills grow, and learning from the veterinarians I work alongside.

Pets:    

• Penelope – My sweet senior girl. She’s an 11-year-old Shar Pei mix who was rescued as a puppy after being found on the side of the road.• Maddox – My 10.5-year-old Catahoula-Pit mix. He’s my goofy old man who truly believes he’s a bird dog.• Ripley – My affectionate 8-year-old Pittie. She loves snuggles and splashing in the water.

Hobbies:   I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs, as well as golfing, fishing, and gardening. I’m in my final semester of vet tech school, pursuing Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification and working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP). I'm also an active member of Fear Free, IVAPM (International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management), and IAAHPC (International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care).

Certifications:Elite Fear Free Certified Professional and RECOVER CPR – Basic Life Support, certified through the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
