Boarding:
Your pet will have the time of his or her life when staying at the LVCC’s Pet Resort. We know how important it is to know that your pet is safe and happy while you are away. We have worked to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for your pet so you can have peace of mind while your pet stays with us. Our spacious boarding facility can accomodate cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, and ferrets.
To protect your pet and others, we require that all pets be healthy and free of parasites and we do have some vaccination requirements that must be met (Annually:DHLP, Bordatella, Rabies for dogs, FVRCP, FeLV, and Rabies for cats). We will examine your pet for fleas and treat them if necessary for a small fee to keep our facility “flea-free”. If you have any questions please feel free to discuss them with us.
We have ensured your pet's safety, security and comfort with our fire and safety security system and temperature controlled indoor/outdoor kennels. All runs have doggie doors accessing a private outdoor play/potty area. Our standard enclosures are Mason Kennels with Kuranda Dog Beds that allow privacy, comfort, and easy sanitation. Our suites, which are mini-bedrooms, are spacious rooms with deluxe doggie doors allowing continuous access to large, private play/potty yards. All of our theme decorated suites feature DuraBullz Temperpedic Dog Beds with fleece covers, televisions, and windows.
We do allow you to bring treats and a couple of toys from home to make your pet more comfortable, however, please leave your pet’s bed and bowls at home. Sometimes pets will behave differently in a new environment and will make a game of destroying their favorite bed or dish! The beds and bowls we provide are comfortable, durable and easy to sanitize.
We provide Purina Prescription Diet E/N dry pet food, because we feel it best ensures your pet is getting a well-balanced, easily digestible, meal. If your pet is on a prescription diet you can also bring your own pet food. We will be happy to administer oral medications or injections you provide for your pet for a small fee. Our resort team is trained to monitor pets for any signs of illness and take immediate action. Best of all, there is a veterinarian available 24 hours a day.
As part of your dog's daily regimen, we exercise them in our outdoor runs at least twice a day. In addition, you can request extra-special treatment in the form of our Playtime program. This allows them extra personally-supervised playtime, in 15 minute intervals, as often as you like. We also offer VIP snacks, either a peanut butter stuffed kong toy or some other delectable treat to pass the time and to comfort your pet during their stay. Cats are able to stretch their legs in our indoor playroom. Of course, all of our entire resort team members visit with boarding animals several times a day—just to say hello!
Tours can be arranged at any time. We do fill up fast, so make reservations early to avoid disappointment, especially around holidays.
